Joy Lagoon

Lagoon was born as Rominta; her keel was laid down in February 1983 at the renowned Shipyard “Cantieri di Pisa”.

In the year 1945, Gino Bini and Antonio Sostegni reopened an existing yard in Limite sull’Arno, an area that was devastated during the Second World War. The yard initiated the production of a range of crafts for Italian financial Coast Guards in the early 1950s. In the year 1956, the duo opened a new Cantieri Navale Italiano yard in Porta a Mare on the Navicelli Canal (built during the Medici era) and this became the turning point in the history of the yard.

This prestigious Tuscan yard has launched more than 600 vessels until now, most of them motor yachts with the most famous in range and design, the AKHIR series.
